Sensor PCB Technology
Civilian Doppler microwave sensors operate in C-band (5.8GHz), X-band (10.525/10.687GHz) and K-band (24.125GHz) with transmit power less than 10mW. These frequencies are in the ISM band and don't require special licensing.
Microwave sensors consist of a microwave oscillator and antenna. The oscillator generates microwave signals which are transmitted via waveguide and emitted through specially designed antennas. The system detects changes in reflected microwave power to determine object presence and movement.
Capacitive Sensor Operation
